Carlos De Freitas
Founder and owner of Carlos Auto Centre, and a BMW man for more than forty years.
Carlos De Freitas founded Carlos Auto Centre in 1995 and still owns and runs it himself. Everything the workshop stands for came from the years before that.
He spent eleven years at the BMW branch in Vanderbijlpark, starting as an entry-level mechanic and working his way up to Service Manager. That is where he learned how these cars are meant to be diagnosed, serviced and repaired — from the ground up, not from a manual.
It shows in how the workshop works today: dealer-level diagnostics, factory tolerances and an honest quote before a single spanner is turned. Carlos Auto Centre takes in all major car brands — BMW is simply where that experience counts for most.
What has kept him at one brand for all these years is simple. Carlos loves BMWs, and that love is still the reason he is in the workshop.
